3-Yr Folding Calendar Template for 2013, 2014, and 2015

Up next in the calendar template line up is a 3-year folding calendar beginning with 2013 and going forward to 2015. This calendar template has a different top design than each of the previous 3-year calendars, but the package has one other difference. The .psd file contains the calendar framework (the basic design) in a multitude of colours, allowing the user to easily choose which colour outline they want to use. The three calendars can't be edited - the text is basic black and dark navy, suitable for use with almost any colour framework you decide to use. Some of the text included in the .psd can be edited using the text function in photoshop - the year can be changed (colour and font, since I can't imagine why you'd want to change the actual year), as can the text along the bottom of the calendar. The lower section can include any sort of text you want: promote your business or website, list your copyright or simply place a fun or spiritual message by changing the text. What's included in the template pack are just the basics:  the framework in 20 different colours (+ black); the three background calendars; individual text layers for the three spaces at the bottom and the three year numbers at the top (download link at the end of the post). The colours included in this pack are:

  • Black
  • Gray
  • Navy
  • Red
  • Moss Green
  • Dark Green
  • Lime Green
  • Golden Yellow
  • Tan
  • Brown
  • Blue
  • Sky Blue
  • Turquoise
  • Light Acqua
  • Dark Acqua
  • Purple
  • Dark Purple
  • Fuschia
  • Baby Pink
  • Hot Pink
  • Light Burgundy

To spice up the calendar design, or make it fun and playful you can add layers with your own design elements using photoshop brushes or custom shapes; you can ad texture to the framework; place an image under the calendar and set the layer blend method to "multiply" or "screen" (depending on the image or results you want). There are many ways you can use the basic calendar template, or the framework, to suit your own taste and style. Just as an example of alternate uses, the framework itself with no calendar can be used to hold photos, rather than the calendars, turning it into a photo-frame template.

In the examples shown here (and they are just sample size, not print size - the template size is 5100 pixels in width) you can see the adjustments made to the colours or design elements create calendars with an entirely different feel. The basic black and white is given a touch with a couple of photoshop brushes, and you have added just a little design interest to a very plain and business-like calendar. The green and brown calendar was given an underlying texture image (from Free-3D-Textures . com) and the calendar layers set to "multiply", the text style was changed slightly from Cooper to Elephant and the layer style given a drop shadow and bevelled edge, and the colour was changed to a mossy green; the added elements under the year are just photoshop brushes.

Use your own imagination to create multiple calendars or frames from this one .psd package - if you can imagine it, you can do it!
